Hope For Families, Worldwide is continuing with its vision to provide a camp for Richmond children and youth in the summer of 2009.  We are currently seeking God’s direction and will for partners in this effort to provide hope for the families of Richmond, Virginia.  Camp Oak Hill of Hanover County will allow the first Hope For Families summer camp initiative in Central Virginia.  The dates for this camp are yet to be determined.   

Hope For Families has been providing a similar program for kids in Latvia for 4 years and they are pleased to be offering the same here in the states.  This is an exciting part of the ministry of Hope For Families, Worldwide.

This coming year marks the 5th year for Camp Hope in Latvia.  Partnering with Hope For Families, Latvia, the first week of camp is for youth and the second week is for children.  These kids come from various backgrounds with very little stability in their day-to-day lives.  Hosting them for a week is an excellent way to get them out of their daily routine to be opened up to the love our staff shares and to the message of Jesus Christ.  We have seen tremendous things happen in the lives of these children, youth and even in their families.  We have been partnering with Hope For Families, Latvia which seeks to provide nurture, growth, support and practical needs throughout the year for these children.
